From The Baltimore Beltway (I-695)
|
|
|
|
I-695 to Greenspring Avenue exit, North
(follow signs for Villa Julie college... You will know you are going the correct way if you begin going up a hill.)
Follow Greenspring Avenue North to the STOP sign at Hillside Road. Continue North on Greenspring Avenue.
Follow Greenspring Avenue North to the traffic light at Greenspring Valley Road. Continue North on Greenspring Avenue. You will begin climbing a large hill...
Continue North on Greenspring for a few miles until you see The Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Department on your left, followed by the Isaac Jachman Army Reserve Base directly next to the fire station.
Approximately 1/4 - 1/2 mile further north on Greenspring, you will find Dover Road on the right.
Turn Right on Dover Road and follow Dover Road for one mile.
SAS is on the left side of the road in a square brick building with a slate pyramid roof. The mailbox (12508) is on the right side of the road. Come down the driveway, park anywhere and come right in!

From Downtown Baltimore and Falls Road
|
|
|
|
|
|
From anywhere in Downtown Baltimore, take I-83 (The Jones Falls Expressway) North.
Follow the JFX (I-83) all the way up until it become Falls Road. You will see signs for the Baltimore Beltway (2 exits), but you will not take either one. Continue on I-83 as it becomes Falls Road, and get in the far left lane.
You will see an office complex on your right called Greenspring Station which has a large white-faced clock on one of the buildings (this is a landmark so that you know you are going in the correct direction).
Continue through the first traffic light to the SECOND traffic light (there will be two left turn lanes) at Greenspring Valley Road.
Take the left turn at the light at Greenspring Valley Road. Follow Greenspring Valley Road until you reach the next traffic light at Greenspring Avenue.
There will be a right turn "ramp" at Greenspring Avenue, going North up a large hill. Take the right turn.

From the southern area of Reisterstown Road, proceed North to Owings Mills Boulevard. The Owings Mills Boulevard exit is to LEFT from this direction. Exit left from Reisterstown Road, and then take an immediate RIGHT on Owings Mills Boulevard.
From the northern area of Reisterstown Road, proceed South to Owings Mills Boulevard. The Owings Mills Boulevard exit is on the RIGHT from this direction. Stay in the right lane as you enter Owings Mills Boulevard.
Once on Owings Mills Boulevard, follow it through the first traffic light at Crondall Lane to the second traffic light at Gwynbrook Avenue. Make a RIGHT on Gwynbrook Avenue. Follow Gwynbrook Avenue to the end (STOP sign) at Garrison Forrest Road.
Make a LEFT on Garrison Forrest Road.
Follow Garrison Forrest Road to Walnut Avenue on the RIGHT. Make a RIGHT on Walnut Avenue.
Follow Walnut Avenue until it ends at Greenspring Avenue.
Take a RIGHT on Greenspring Avenue and travel about 1 mile to Dover Road on the LEFT.
Turn LEFT on Dover Road and follow Dover Road for one mile.
SAS is on the left side of the road in a square brick building with a slate pyramid roof. The mailbox (12508) is on the right side of the road. Come down the driveway, park anywhere and come right in!

From York Road (Timonium)
|
|
|
|
From the Towson area, proceed North on York Road to Timonium Road. Make a LEFT on Timonium Road.
From the Cockeysville area, proceed South on York Road (past the Maryland State Fairgrounds) to Timonium Road. Make a RIGHT on Timonium Road.
Follow Timonium Road past all of the Baltimore Beltway signs (do not exit to the Beltway) and continue on through the neighborhoods and uphill. At the top of the hill, you will make a RIGHT turn on Jennifer Road.
Follow Jennifer to the first STOP sign. Continue straight, until Jennifer ends at Padonia Road (STOP sign).
Take a LEFT on Padonia Road, and follow it all the way to the first traffic light (you will find a very sharp right bend just prior to the light).
Continue straight, and Padonia Road TURNS INTO Broadway.
Follow Broadway to the first STOP sign. At the STOP sign, turn right. There will be a sign stating that "Right Turn Without Stop Permitted."
Continue on Broadway until it ends at Greenspring Avenue (STOP sign). Turn RIGHT (North) on Greenspring Avenue.
Continue North on Greenspring Avenue until you see The Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Department on your left, followed by the Isaac Jachman Army Reserve Base directly next to the fire station.
